Important Information
- Participants will need an International Driving Permit issued compliant to the 1949 Geneva Convention format to drive in Japan. Participants with licenses issued from Switzerland, Germany, France, Taiwan, Belgium or Monaco are required to obtain a Japanese Translation of their license by the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF).
- Guests arriving without the required documents will not be able to ride, or get any refund; please check below carefully and be sure to bring the proper documents
- Those with a license from certain countries cannot participate, including Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Belarus, Oman, Mongolia, Mexico, Russia, Columbia, Qatar, Kuwait, Brazil; for full details, check here before booking
- If you are with the US Military, you can join with either a SOFA permit (USFJ 4EJ) + US Military ID or a US Military Active Duty Uniformed Services Military ID + valid US state-side driver's license.
- Participants must be aged 18 or older and 145–184 cm tall
- Do not wear sandals, high heels, long skirts, or other clothing that can interfere with driving the go-kart
- Each go kart is for a single driver, no 2-person karts or child seats are available
- We may cancel the tour if we anticipate heavy rain, in which case a full refund or rescheduling is offered (no refunds after the tour has started)
- This activity is in no way a reflection of Nintendo or the game “Mario Kart” — we do not provide costumes of Mario characters or allow any clothing that imply Nintendo characters.
- You must bring all Original (Physical) documents and Original Passport with you on the day of your tour. (Digital versions are not accepted by law.)
- You will NOT be able to join if you forget any of the necessary documents or arrive late and no refunds will be issued. Joining Instructions
- Once your booking is confirmed, we will ask for a copy of your valid drivers' license; please submit this at least 5 days before your tour or it may be canceled
- Tours normally proceed even in light to moderate rain, but if you are concerned you can contact the host for more information (contact details provided with booking confirmation)
- Be sure to arrive at the shop 30 minutes before your reservation time for all checks and preparations
- On arrival, present your booking confirmation email to the staff, as well as your Passport, necessary documents that permits you to drive as described here
- You will read and sign a Liability Form on a tablet.
- Put all your belongings in the locker (except ID and drivers' license, permits), then choose your favorite costume!
- You will watch a video on how to operate the karts and road safety regulations.
- When the group is ready to start, your guide will take you to your kart — then enjoy the tour! Driving in Japan

- Bodily Injury (other than driver): 80,000,000 JPY
- Property damage (other than driver's): 2,000,000 JPY

Description
Go-kart in Akihabara at the speed of fun, while dressed as your favorite character — and be ready to pose for surprised tourists along the way!
Bring a local or international driver's license, then have a short introduction to go-kart operation, and the route that your guide will be leading you on. Next, go ahead and pick out a costume at no additional charge! Choose from a variety of costumes, even one of the Minions! For 1 or 2 hours, you will become the center of attention as you make your dramatic appearance on the streets of downtown Tokyo!
Rental Costumes How can you say you had a superhero go-karting experience without dressing up!? We have all the costumes you can think of to make this a truly great experience. For all of you superhero fans, don't worry, we have them all too! We do not provide costumes of Mario characters.
