At the Betty Smith Ebisu Workshop in Shibuya, you can get hands on and customize your very own pair of selvedge denim jeans! Select your size, then choose from a wide range of buttons, rivets, and leather patches (over 30 kinds of each) to make them truly unique. You'll attach them yourself using the same machinery as Betty Smith's own artisans. Then, finish the denim with an authentic vintage beating machine. An instore expert will handle the hems and final touches, ensuring a perfect fit and finish, and then you’re done — you can even wear your jeans home. Betty Smith Japanese jeans hail from Kojima in Kurashiki City, known as the "sacred land of jeans." Visit the "Ebisu Kobo" workshop to find out why! **Program overview:** Choose your size under the watchful gaze of Betty-chan, from XS-XXL (25 to 34 inches). For larger sizes, you can pay onsite to upgrade (10 minutes).  Choose your buttons and rivets from among more than 30 kinds of each, and add the patch of your choosing to make your jeans truly one of a kind (10 minutes).  Next it’s time to attach them yourself. Don’t worry, expert help is on hand to guide you with the specialist machinery (20 minutes).  Finally, the finishing touches are handled by an expert. With a selvage, or “self-finished” pair of jeans you will have an extra touch of class and no fraying on the inseams (20 minutes).  Now you’re done! Of course, you’re free to browse the store as well, before heading home in your very own jeans.
