Description

Visit the forested slopes of sacred Mt. Daisen in Tottori, and escape the summer heat with a guided shower climbing tour! You can take a beginner-friendly tour (Course A), with escape routes along the way so you never have to step too far out of your comfort zone. Or choose the Waterfall Basin Challenge (Course B) for more adventure, diving into pools and swimming through the enchanting forest landscape. This activity is available from mid-July to September, every day except Wednesdays. Course A tours run at 09:00 and 13:00, lasting about 2 hours, 30 minutes. Course B tours run at 09:00 and last about 3 hours, 30 minutes. After the tour, you can use the hot showers and changing rooms at Mori no Kuni. The park grounds also have a wide range of other activities to enjoy while you’re there, including the Green Slide for year-round sledding, the Treasure Hunter game, and over 50 kinds of athletic play equipment. There’s also a treetop adventure area, a zip line, plus mountain biking and outdoor cooking activities. Mori no Kuni is open 09:00–17:30 for most of the year, with shorter hours in winter.
