A packraft is a one-person inflatable boat (air-filled rubber boat) that originated in Alaska and was created at the beginning of this century as a tool for adventurers to cross water holes. It weighs about 3kg and is not as difficult to maneuver as a kayak or canoe, so there is less worry about it capsizing. Even beginners will be able to ride and row in no time.
