You can enjoy not only the autumn leaves, but also the autumn leaves of Urashimatsutsuji, which looks like a carpet of bright red carpet. Do not climb Mt. Asahidake, but move sideways from Sugatami Station to Hemihei. There is no hard climb, and it is the main hunting for autumn leaves. Unlike the Asahidake area, there are not many climbers, so you can enjoy a quiet mountain walk. After descending the mountain, it's hot spring time at Asahidake Onsen.
