Highlights of the Hida Great Limestone Cave: • Ryuuguu No Ya Kei — Cave 1 (Nightscape of the Dragon's Palace) This surreal scene greets you upon entering the Hida Great Limestone Cave. It is deliberately lit with red and blue lights to prevent moss from growing. • Dream Palace — Cave 2 The icicle-like soda-straw stalactites are one of the trademark features of the Great Hida Limestone Cave and can be seen here in large quantities. • Aishin Spot — Cave 2 An underground tunnel that connects Cave 1 to Cave 2. Colorful LED lights stage a mystical atmosphere along the way. • Tsuki No Sekai — Cave 3 (Moon World) Formed of cave coral, the dramatic cleft in the rock is a sight to behold! But beware — the pathway to this spot is very narrow. Ohashi Collection Museum: An art museum established to complement the Hida Great Limestone Cave. Around 1,000 artworks and decorative items collected from around the world are on display here. The Ohashi Collection Museum is located in front of the Limestone Cave entrance — be sure to take a look on your visit to the cave!
