• Children aged 0–2 enter free of charge • Children aged 0–13 must be accompanied by an adult (aged 18+) at all times, unless participating in a Lone Pine staff-supervised educational program • Concession tickets are valid for ages 14–17, students, and senior citizens aged 65+ or holding a Seniors Card • Personal mobility devices like strollers, wheelchairs, and mobility scooters are permitted throughout Lone Pine • A limited number of strollers and manual wheelchairs are available to hire for 6 AUD, please call ahead to reserve wheelchairs • Bicycles, scooters, skateboards, roller skates, and the like are not permitted • Certified guide, hearing, or assistance animals are permitted in the public access grounds of Line Pine without prior arrangement • To bring certified guide, hearing, or assistance animals inside the paid sanctuary grounds, approved handlers must call or email in advance to make arrangements • Animals other than assistance animals are not permitted without prior approval • No alcohol, illegal drugs, glassware, sharp objects, or motorized vehicles are permitted inside the grounds • No speakers, amplifiers, megaphones, or musical instruments are permitted without prior arrangement • Visitors must not display any obscene, profane, illegal, or unacceptable language or images • The venue reserves the right to inspect bags at any time for security purposes • Tickets cannot be refunded in case of bad weather, or rescheduled after entry; please check the forecast in advance and choose your visit date accordingly • Lone Pine reserves the right to change opening days, hours of operation, event schedules, and related terms and conditions without prior notice COVID-19 Measures: • To comply with government contact tracing requirements, visitors must check in via the Check In QLD app on arrival • By completing your booking, you acknowledge that all guests included in your booking have not in the last 14 days: • Entered Australia from overseas (other than a safe travel zone) • Been in close contact with an active COVID-19 case • Been in a Queensland-declared COVID-19 hotspot, place of concern, or exposure venue, as defined by the Chief Health Officer • Had a fever, cough, sore throat, headache, distorted sense of taste, shortness of breath, chills, vomiting, or any other cold/flu-like symptoms in the last 72 hours


Founded in 1927, the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary just outside Brisbane is the first and largest koala sanctuary in the world, and is devoted to protecting native Australian species in a natural bush habitat. A Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary ticket is valid up to six months from the date of purchase, and covers admission as well as sheep dog shows, raptor flight shows, and wild lorikeet feeding. Around the sanctuary you can meet over 70 species of native Australian animals, such as dingoes, wombats, wallabies, flying foxes, and Tasmanian devils. Optional activities throughout the day include Touch a Koala, Dingo Photos, Snake Photos, Koala Holds, Platypus or Owl Encounters, and the Koala Discovery Tour!

How it works

1. Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive an email with a voucher, which will serve as your e-ticket 2. Your e-ticket is valid up to 180 days after the date of purchase; it is non-refundable and non-transferrable 3. On the day of your visit, present your voucher (printed or displayed on your smartphone) for entry 4. Guests with a concession ticket must show a Seniors Card, valid student ID, or photo ID showing date of birth
