Description

For a fun, unique way to explore Australia's famous Uluru (Ayers Rock), book this tour to cruise around this majestic rock's entire 12km base on a Segway! To kick off the tour, your guide will pick you up from your accommodation at Voyages Ayers Rock Resort; then, you'll have a Segway training session courtesy of your friendly guide. Once the entire group is confident riding a Segway, it's time to travel around the entirety of Uluru! As you ride, your guide will stop every now and then for photo ops and trivia about the local culture, history, and nature. After completing the full loop around the base of Uluru, you'll dismount from your Segway for a walk into Mutitjulu Waterhole, where you can see ancient Aboriginal rock art. Listen to your guide's in-depth commentary about the ancient history of the Anangu aboriginal people, their reverence for Uluru, and the local flora and fauna. On the way back to your accommodation, relax and feel free to chat with your guide.
