- Please present your e-voucher, passport, and visa at any THSR ticketing window to redeem the physical tickets. Indicate your departure date and reserve a seat if needed (no extra fees will be charged) - Please make sure that the name, country of residence, and passport number entered upon booking are the exact same as the details on your passport. Your passport must have at least one valid certificate of entry (visa-exempt entry, tourist visa, or entry permit) - These tickets are only available for non-Taiwanese passport holders entering Taiwan for a short-term stay (less than 180 days) or with visa-exempt entry. These are not available for foreign residents of Taiwan - Passengers who hold Taiwanese dual citizenship must present a non-Taiwanese passport with a recent valid entry document to Taiwan (e.g. visa, visa exemption stamp, Exit & Entry Permit for Taiwan, etc.) - Refunds will not be given to guests who are found ineligible for these tickets - Children aged 0-5 may ride for free without a ticket, but they must sit on a guardian’s lap - Each paying adult can bring a maximum of 2 children aged 0–5 for free. A child ticket will be required for each additional child - Children aged 0–5 who are over 115 cm tall must present a valid ID to ride the THSR for free - Children aged 6–11 who are over 115 cm tall will require a child ticket; they must also present a valid ID confirming their age - Travelers with reserved seats must enter through the manual gate
