Explore the picturesque northern coast of Taiwan on this tour! The tour begins at 08:00 after meeting your guide and driver at MRT Zhongxiao Xinsheng Station (BL14/O07) Exit 2. Your first stop is Keelung City's Chung Cheng Park, a park perched on the hillside with a 25-meter-tall statue of the goddess Guanyin overlooking the harbor city. Here, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the harbor from the city's best vantage point. The next stop is the biggest harbor in Northern Taiwan — Keelung. Among all the tourist attractions in Keelung, Keelung Maritime Plaza is one of the most visited. Keelung Maritime Plaza was opened in August of 2009. This place was built with a beautiful wooden deck offering a beautiful view of the entire Keelung Inner Harbor. You can also see enormous cruise ships berthing alongside the wharf. On the sunny days, you can take a relaxing tour to soak up the maritime ambiance, appreciate the beautiful public artworks on display, and sit in a coffee shop to enjoy the refreshing sea air. Afterward, stop by Guihou Fishing Port, a scenic little fishing village on the north coast. The buildings here are painted with style, and the waters are clear. Every year from September through November, the Fishermen Market near Guihou gathers crowds competing to get hold of the delicious “Wanli crab.” Today, Guihou Fishing Port is known for Wanli crabs and has become one of the busiest ports along the north coast. Must-try classics include the “Steamed Wanli crab.” Next, you will spend an hour at Yehliu Geopark, a natural scenic spot filled with incredible rock formations shaped by nature over thousands of years. The most famous rock formation here is Queen’s Head, a mushroom hoodoo rock that bears an uncanny resemblance to Queen Elizabeth. Besides Queen’s Head, there are also other fascinating, quirkily-named formations to see, including the Bean Curd Rock, Honeycomb Weathering, Candle Shaped Rocks, Fairy’s Shoe, and many more. Your tour ends with return transportation to your chosen drop-off location. Either at Xinyi Shopping District (Taipei 101) or MRT Zhongxiao Xinsheng.
Please meet your tour guide at MRT Zhongxiao Xinsheng Station (BL14/O07), Exit 2. After the 4-hour tour, you can choose to disembark at either MRT Zhongxiao Xinshen Station or Xinyi Shopping District (Taipei 101).
