You can rent and be dressed in a traditional Japanese costume, kimono or yukata (during the summer). You will be provided a memorable experience of the Japanese traditional culture. Our shop is located in the Gion district in Kyoto which is famous for being the geisha district. It is very centrally located and easy to find for someone not from the area. Wearing a kimono, you can visit the Yasaka Shrine or the Chionin Temple in several minutes, the Kiyomizu-dera and the Heianjingu Shrine in about 15 minutes from the kimono shop on foot. You can visit Fushimi Inari Taisha, Arashiyama district and other various famous places in about 30 minutes by using train. Not recommended for pregnant travelers. Inclusions in this plan: •Kimono or yukata rental •Kimono fitting by a professional All items necessary for dressing a kimono are included in this plan. Just bring yourself! Options for hair styling, makeup and upgrades are also available. •Hair styling (1000 JPY) •Makeup (3000 JPY) Please pay on the day at the venue if you want to add either of these options. Ask local staff for more details. English-speaking, Chinese-speaking and Japanese-speaking staff are available. Kimono/yukata size: •Women: 4.5 ft (140 cm) to 5.75 ft (175 cm) •Men: 5.5 ft (170 cm) to 6 ft (185 cm) •Children: 3.25 ft (100 cm) Our business time is 9:00-17:30. Please return the kimono or yukata and others you rent by 5:30 pm. Please notify us of the time that you will visit our shop as well as your name and sex.
